Immersion s04e04: Will you be able to watch it until the end?

(Lechería, December 4th. Yakuza Webzine).- The most recent episode of Immersion was not focused on the main video game franchises, but went inside, never better said, into the simulators world.

Every gamer knows that there are a lot of simulators, but there is one that always catches people attention, I’m talking of the surgeon simulator. Many people wonder if it is indeed impossible for two people with no medical training to actually perform a surgery in real life.

Well, Burnie Burns (The Amazing Race) and our “lab rats” Gavin Free (The Slow Mo Guys) & Michael Jones (Achievement Hunter) decided to give it a try.

In order to do that, Rooster Teeth’s crew created an operating room and a dummy in the most realistic way they could, and believe me, they didn’t pinch pennies when it came to the amount of blood. Besides, for emulating the complexity of the simulator, they set as a rule that Gavin and Michael could only use one hand.

A true blood fest

If we think carefully about it, this time the challenge wasn’t able to answer the question, but who cares! It allowed to test not only the stomachs of our “lab rats”, but our stomachs as well.

There were moments where it was really hard to keep my eyes on the screen due to how graphic things were getting in it. And no, it was not helpful at all that Michael decided to take a snack in the middle of the surgical procedure.

In conclusion, this time the episode didn’t answer the question, but it ended up being really funny… in a very wicked way.
