Anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners dio la sorpresa en los Crunchyroll Anime Awards Por Jacinto Muñoz Publicado en 04/03/2023 14 minuto leer 0 0 (Lechería, 4 de marzo. O’kuroku).- Hace una horas terminó la gala de los Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2023 y cuando todo parecía indicar que ganarían los de siempre, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners dio la campanada. Y es que, hasta el momento de la entrega del galardón final, 3 series habían estado arrasando con las categorías: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Arco del Barrio del Placer-, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 y SPY x FAMILY, cada una ganando 6 estatuillas. De hecho, si nos vamos a la siguiente serie con más premios, estaríamos hablando de JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 que había acumulado 4. Fue por eso que cuando se leyeron los nominados a mejor anime del año, pocos creían que la serie ganadora estaría fuera de ese póquer de estrellas. No obstante, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners demostró que está por encima de las estadísticas o expectativas y terminó llevándose el premio mayor de la noche, en un increíble plot twist que terminó sorprendiendo a quienes seguimos la gala en directo. La serie producida en conjunto por Studio Trigger y CD Projekt logró sobreponerse a varias derrotas previas en categorías relevantes como Mejor Personaje Principal, Mejor Serie de Estreno, Mejor Animación y Mejor Dirección, para levantarse de sus cenizas y reclamar el trono mayor de la noche. Por cierto, hay que resaltar que esta 7ma edición de los premios estuvo espectacular, no sólo porque se llevó a cabo en Japón por primera vez, sino porque todo el evento fue de primer nivel con grandes actuaciones en vivo cortesía de la gran Yuki Kajiura y su interpretación de la versión especial de la canción Homura de la película Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train y de la banda ALI (feat. AKLO) interpretando el ending de Jujutsu Kaisen, Lost in Paradise.
