English Eventos Toronto ComiCon 2018: March break became better. Por Maria Caterina Bruciapaglia Publicado en 13/03/2018 5 minuto leer 0 0 (Toronto, march 13. Okuroku) We all love a good getaway. It doesn’t matter if you are in high school, college, university or already out there working, three days of fun are always welcome and the Toronto ComiCon could not come at a better time. Snow still falling and the cold bitter but there is no way this gloomy weather can get between fans and their passions. Toronto ComiCon 2018 is still the best way to open the Con season in this big city and we are so hyped for that. Toronto ComiCon: What is hot this year? First of all, Matilda on the flesh. Yes, the actress that impersonated our favorite ESPer/bookworm is coming to the show. Mara Wilson will be giving photos and autographs on Saturday and Sunday as well as presenting her book «Where am I now?». Can’t wait to head back to #Toronto this weekend for @FANEXPOCANADA! — Mara “Get Rid of the Nazis” Wilson (@MaraWilson) March 14, 2018 If that is not enough for you, our most adorable side-kick Chewbacca will be also present, Yes! You will have the opportunity to meet and greet actor extraordinaire Joonas Suotamo on Sunday only. Other greats stars such as Marina Sirtis (Star Trek: Next Generation), our beloved gentle giant Hodor, Kristian Nairn and Eugene Brave Rock (Wonder Woman) are going to be present as well on this edition of the event. But there is more: If reading is your passion you cannot miss out the chance to meet the creator of the Forgotten Realms, Ed Greenwood on Saturday only, but he is not the only one: E.K Johnston and Rebecca Diem are also going to be participating in this #TTCC2018. As happened in the last edition you will enjoy Sketch Duels, Panels, and have the opportunity to meet your favourite Youtuber celebrity (like AlbinWonderland, Glamzilla and That Joker Guy to mention some of them). But as added value, on this Toronto ComiCon there will be a panel with Spin VFX expert Jennifer Maillet, multiple comedy shows are also in schedule for your delight! (Spoiler alert: the Dandies are planning to perform a Harry Potter theme sketch this year, just saying!) Let’s not forget that March break also means family time, therefore the crew of the Toronto ComiCon made sure that the Family Zone will be full of fun activities during the whole weekend. For more info about it, there is a special schedule to check out. As last year, Star Wars promises to be the continuous theme during the whole weekend, so don’t forget to bring you favorite merch and snap a selfie with the stormtroopers! Before we leave you to plan your weekend at the con, don’t forget to check the schedule of the event so you don’t miss any of the fun!! See ya there folks! -Maria Bruciapaglia
